... and so it begins

I've always been a creative person at heart. I LOVE the arts, books, poetry, etc. for the fantasy, fiction, and creative energy it produces. But more importantly to me, I love the stories - fact, fiction, whatever.

The one thing I have never attempted to do is to write my own stories. I am an avid day-dreamer, but have never been able to put anything to paper. Then it hit me, I have enough happen in my own life that I DO have some things to write about. After all, too many people throughout my life have said to me, "You should be writing this stuff down". Right?!

So here's the thing.... I tend to experience Murphy's Law.... A LOT! Plus the older I get it seems that Murphy has become my kindred spirit. Who is Murphy, btw? Edward Aloysius Murphy, Jr. to be exact - was a WWII air force pilot and aerospace engineer. Look him up sometime. I may do some genealogy work down the road and see if I am related. :/

Don't get me wrong, I am a very blessed woman and wouldn't trade anyone or anything because I love my life, the people and the world around me. Great things happen for me all the time! But Murphy's Law is always lurking in the shadows to trip me up - and I have to say that I can laugh at everything that Murphy throws at me - - eventually.

So this blog is my attempt to put on paper my thoughts and experiences with a lot of Murphy's Law thrown in to keep you attentive. May you laugh, cry, or just shake your head right along with me. ;)
